Forest Homecare is an independent, family owned care agency supplying care and support for adults living in their own homes.

We have recently been awarded from the CQC (Care Quality Commission) an inspection rating of ‘Excellent’

We are a caring and supporting company, and are looking for caring and compassionate carers to work alongside our friendly team where no experience is necessary. Forest Homecare is seeking more carers to work in Essex and Suffolk due to our growing business and is looking to attract the best candidates.

Forest Homecare can offer you a future as a Care Assistant by:

  • Guaranteeing a minimum of 37.5 + Hours Per Week
  • Fully Paid Training
  • Accommodation Provided (Accommodation is provided at £125.00 per week including all bills except food )
  • Transport Provided (We will provide you with a Forest Homecare car for 3 months at no expense to you, we even give you a fuel card)
  • Flights Provided (If required but will be deducted from wages)

  • Paid holiday per hour you work

Carer Pay Rates

Weekday:      £7.85 per hour           95p per hour                                      £8.80 per hour

Weekend:      £8.73 per hour           95p per hour                                      £9.68 per hour

Bank Holiday: £12.81 per hour       95p per hour                                      £13.76 per hour

The role of a domiciliary carer is a very important link between an adult needing assistance in their own home as well as in their local community, whilst at the same time promoting the independence and dignity of a Service User.

During a normal shift you may need to assist them with helping them out of bed, washing and dressing, help with medication, either preparing or cooking meals, and sometimes feeding.

It may even be as much as providing company to our service users who at times can feel lonely and isolated and the help from you can make a huge difference. You will receive full training to enable you to perform all of the above duties.

How Forest Homecare will assist with your move to the UK:

Forest Homecare will be holding all interviews via Skype with our recruitment team in the UK.

Once you are in the UK we will arrange to pick you up from your arrival airport and take you to your accommodation.

We will issue you with a company car (which will be for business purposes only), when you arrive at head office to pick this up we will assist you with arranging a meeting to setup your National Insurance Number, we will assist you with opening a Bank Account and any other facilities you require.

We are here to help you setup within the UK and will support you with any enquiries you may have, we have other Portuguese workers here already who will be happy to speak to you should you need and reassurance and support.

We will start you on rounds with an experienced carer so you are not working alone initially.
